Terms & Conditions
Participation in the Incentive Scheme constitutes full and unconditional acceptance of these terms and conditions (“Terms”).
TIMING
The Incentive Scheme runs from 1 October 2019 up to and including 31 December 2019.
PERSONAL DATA
Any personal data which you may provide when you participate in this Incentive Sheme will only be used by HP Belgium BVBA (“HP”) and, if applicable, its subcontractor(s), for the purposes of this Incentive Scheme and always in accordance with HP’s Privacy Statement as published on the website.
COMPLIANCE WITH LOCAL TAX AND SOCIAL SECURITY LAW
Prizes will be considered as a taxable benefit to the winners. Winners (or their employee to whom the benefit is given as the case may be) will be directly responsible for accounting for and paying to their local tax offices any tax liability, social security or National Insurance (“NI”) contributions arising on their prize. HP will not have any liability for tax, social security or NI arising from this Incentive Scheme.
HOW TO WIN
To win, you must meet the relevant criteria for winning the Incentive Scheme as defined above, subject always to these Terms.
Only purchases that are effectively shipped (and not only ordered by) to an HP Transactional partner during the incentive period and bought through HP’s 4 official distributors: Tech Data, Ingram Micro, Copaco and Also will be taken into account.
The performance of the partners will be assessed based on the official reporting as it is available in the HP systems. Only data present in this system is accepted, winners will be determined based on this data. No correspondence shall be entered into.
EVENT
The destination of the Event is Scotland and it is expected to take place from Wednesday 5 October 2022 to Saturday 8 October 2022.
The winners will be announced by no later than 15 January 2020. Each winner must nominate an employee representative to go to the Event and confirm the identity of that employee to HP as soon as possible. The nominated person has to have a valid driver’s license.
HP will fund all economy class flights, accommodation and organized events, meals and activities for the winner representatives. All other expenses will be the responsibility of the winner or individual winner representative as determined between them (e.g. spending money).
If a winner confirms a place for its nominated representative and then the winner or their nominated employee cancels his attendance after flights have been booked, the place cannot be transferred to another person unless a new flight ticket is purchased directly by the winner at the winner’s cost. HP will not be responsible for purchasing any additional flights or for the costs thereof.
GENERAL
HP reserves the right to amend, modify, cancel or withdraw this Incentive Scheme at any time without prior notice.
In the unlikely event of any dispute, the decision of HP or its subcontractor shall be final. No correspondence shall be entered into.
HP cannot guarantee the performance of any third party and to the extent permitted by law shall not be liable for any act or default by a third party. Participants in this Incentive Scheme agree that HP will have no liability whatsoever for any injuries, losses, costs, damage or disappointment of any kind resulting in whole or in part, directly or indirectly from acceptance, misuse or use of a prize, or from participation in this Incentive Scheme to the maximum extent permitted by applicable law.
These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of Belgium.
